What is 'Lister' ?
At first, the 2 lists are formed in secret during the month ofSeptember and more particularly during the WEI. In discretion (more or less…), students will start to form lists with their friendsand go looking for motivated people who want to share thisadventure with them. For a few weeks you will have time to decidethe role of each person, the name, the color of your list, but also discover the people with whom you are going to spend your next 4 months.November, perhaps the most intense and incredible 4 months will beginof your schooling, with the submission of the lists which symbolizes the beginning of the pre-campaign. The listers are then no longer in the shadows, but under the Spotlight, it’s time to show what your worthlist! During this pre-campaign, the lists bring the campus to life by organizing all kinds of events, you will have to be creative and ambitiousin order to make an impression. At the same time, this year the Student Office Astroinnovates: it will offer list-users the opportunity to participate in lots of eventsdifferent with the many clubs and associations on our campus. These eventsare intended to ensure that you meet your elders in joy and good humor.It will be the time to express your creativity and organize projects that you will be proud of with a huge group of friends. Sometimes there are There will be difficult times, but that’s what will unite you even more.It’s a unique and incredible experience that you won’t regret.
The Campaign
In February comes campaign week. The campaign week is a bit like the culmination of all your months of work. But nothing is decided yet! It’s time to give it your all and show the campus what you’re made of. Most of the students who vote come specifically to see what you have proposed, so you have to be original and work as a team. Your list will have quite a few missions during this week: organizing an evening (700 people), stands and big activities of all kinds. After 4 months, you will have become a real family and you will see that it will be an opportunity to put into practice all the know-how acquired: it is incredible to experience. It is at the end of this week that the votes take place which will decide between the lists and elect the new BDE. Who better to talk about all this than a former list writer? Upon arriving at INT, we never thought we would run for election. Today, we can say without hesitation: running for BDE is the best experience one can have at INT. It’s an experience that allows you to meet unlikely people and forge lifelong friendships through shared struggles. While listing, we certainly went through ups and downs, but looking back at this period, we can say with certainty that we would do it again without hesitation. It’s been 3 years since we ran for BDE, and here we are writing this text during vacation among Spectres, with people we probably would never have met without having experienced this crazy adventure. Ultimately, after a long campaign followed by an even longer BDE term where we repeatedly asked ourselves, 'why did we do this?', we have no regrets. So, you hesitant first-year student, stop thinking, muster your courage, and we promise you won’t regret it.

During 4 months, three teams compete in challenges to win the Student Office . In the end, the students on campus vote to elect the best list: this is what we call listing Student Office . The list is divided into different areas so that each person can have a role that suits them. You can do communication and thus discover more about tools like Photoshop or Premiere Pro. You can work in relationships with companies to create partnerships. You can also be in the events team to organize a big campaign party with a larger budget. In short, it's up to you to find in the organizational chart what suits you best. There are two types of events during this Student Office campaign. The more official challenges where the three lists can compete in a rap of the lists, during a quiz of the lists, or during presentation clips. In these challenges, it's the Student Office that evaluates which list is the most effective. Then, there are the more unexpected events proposed by the list members to bring the campus to life (treasure hunt, advent calendar, Hotline...) This experience allows us to learn to become all kinds of professions: from carpenter to pizza delivery driver, and even painter. We also learn to push our limits because listing isn't always easy; we sleep little and dedicate most of our time to it. In the end, we struggle, we laugh, we cry, we stress, and we have fun together in moments that resonate, like the campaign. You'll understand, it's an unforgettable experience that allows you to build a family and learn more about yourself. We can always try to explain it, but it's more something you live. Ultimately, it's us who bring this campus to life by making the students enjoy themselves. Finally, listing is about making connections; during our campaign, we have the opportunity to talk with both first-year and fifth-year students, and it really is a wealth. It allows us to build our network, have fun, and especially create strong bonds. You have to live this experience 100%.

I wanted to join the list from the Integration Week. They had told me it was an incredible experience, with people who would become lifelong friends; that it would be unforgettable moments of joy, tears, and sometimes both at once. Well, they didn’t lie. When the pre-campaign started, and even earlier during the offerings, I got fully involved in the list. I gave it everything: my time, my energy, my sleep, and I lived the most intense 4 months of my life. And the happiest. I will always remember the moments when the whole list went all out for the campaign events, when we were all together, hustling, with the sole goal of making the campus enjoy it, and better than the others. There was competition, joy, camaraderie, and sweat as well—it was beautiful to see. And on the big day, when you saw people's smiles, it was priceless. Those were the best moments. During the victory, what I felt most was pride. I was proud of the events we organized, proud of the family we had created, in short, proud of being on the list. 1A, JOIN THE LIST.

I have never been more myself since joining the list. The experience is so intense, you give so much all the time that you feel everything stronger and more genuinely. When you spend 4 months with 30 people, building bonds that you’ll never find anywhere else, and who count on you just as you count on them, there comes a time when these people, whom you laugh and argue with, become people you will never forget, and who will never forget you. And when you win... the chills of the first BDE singing are unforgettable, and from that moment, you really feel involved and useful to the campus and its associative life. A list is 35 people united with one goal: to become the next BDE. And for this, there's a long campaign lasting nearly 4 months, during which each member gives 2000% for their list. As the various events unfold, you meet incredible people, forget what a long night of sleep is, and live, eat, and sleep list! You always try to be more imaginative to create events or games that will delight the campus, and you learn things that you’d never learn in class: writing a party report, approaching companies for goodies, or even dyeing cloth, for example. You see all kinds of things (especially orange), and above all, you create unforgettable memories and friendships. We join the list to become the next BDE, but in the end, whether we win or lose, we become so much more. What is Campaigning? How can I convince you? It seems impossible to put into words all the intense and happy images that cross my mind when I think of the 4 months I shared with 39 people. Working, creating, and imagining as a group is not innate. Campaigning is about learning to see everyone's qualities and finding a place for everyone to offer students the 4 best months of their year. There is a saying at INT that we often repeat: even if we lose the Student Office campaign, we always gain a family. Often these words are spoken with sarcasm, but they are still true. By discovering ourselves through this experience, we also discover friends with whom every moment becomes memorable. These are people with whom you will share doubts, tears, sleepless nights, and hard work but above all an infinity of laughter, challenges, and memories. Campaigning ultimately means trying to make your wildest dreams a reality; it’s about vibrating in unison with the 3,000 students on our campus for 4 months.
