MiNET

MiNET is the association in charge of the internet network at MAISEL, the campus's student residence. We ensure a stable wired connection and Wi-Fi in all buildings, thanks to an infrastructure managed end-to-end by students: 📡 150 Wi-Fi hotspots, 🔌 40 switches, 🖥 15 servers. But MiNET also offers services for members (virtual machine hosting, collaborative tools, technical support), and above all, a community adventure open to everyone—technical or not, beginners or curious. Flagship projects for 2025-2026 🛠️ Rewiring the student residence The final step in our major network modernization campaign: after the housing, it's time for the community residence! A project led by the members themselves, for greater stability and network coverage worthy of the space's use. 🎤MiNET Conference A highlight open to the entire campus: mini-conferences on tech topics, discussions, discovery of digital culture, and an after-work event to connect with the speakers. 🔧 Continuous Improvement of Infrastructure Each active member can propose a project (technical or not), carry it out, document it, and sometimes even deploy it in production. This is the heart of knowledge transfer at MiNET. We don't require a technical background upon admission. What we're looking for are curious, motivated students ready to build with others. MiNET is as much about learning as it is about mutual support, sharing, and a true community life. Come to the office, push open the door. It's up to you to attend.
